Adrian Serioux
MetroStars to sign Serioux and Ikangu
February 27, 2006

According to BigAppleSoccer, the MetroStars have signed two defensive midfielders who were in their camp: Adrian Serioux and Elie Ikangu. Serioux will count as a senior international, and Ikangu as a junior.

Serioux most recently played with Millwall in the English Championship (second tier). He was asked to be released from the club to be closer to his ailing mother. The Canadian international, known for his rough tackles and long throw-ins, is no stranger to an occasional red card. He would fill the fourth and final senior international slot of the Metro roster.

Ikangu emerges as the only player to survive the mysterious bubble camp in early February. The Frenchman saw some time with Le Harve in his native country, and was on Darlington's roster in England's League Two (fourth tier). He would fill the second of five junior international slots.
